Born and raised in Saint Louis, MO, Miranda discovered her passion for cooking during the 2020 pandemic. What began as a pastime to recreate YouTube recipes quickly turned into a journey of self-teaching, accepting feedback, and perseverance. In a short period, Miranda developed into a skilled chef who gives all glory to God for blessing her with the gift to feed her community.

With their support, Miranda decided to transform her love for cooking into a business. In May 2021, A Seat at the Table was born with the mission of reaching a wider audience and sharing her love for food through soul food and seafood creations.
